The Director of Administration and Personnel, Dr. Sokari, Stanley and
the Head, Development Control of the Bayelsa State Physical Planning and
Development Board with Ruth Egbejule of Peoples FM for effective sensitization
of the public on the new vision of the Bayelsa State Physical Planning and
Development Board.
They discussed on the long term advantages of the present urban renewal
efforts of Government and warned the public on the disadvantages of developing
without a valid development permit from the Board.
They insisted that business as usual is no longer tenable as ignorance of the law is no longer going to be an excuse. According to them, the new Executive Chairman of the Board, Alabo Gideon O. Ekeuwei is poised to deliver on the mandate of bequeathing to Bayelsans, a state that is aesthetically valid, economically viable and environmentally sustainable in line with the aspirations of Governor Diri Administration.
